Who am I?
Creative Strategist. Simply put, it's the person that creates the idea and develops its purpose. So, it's a bit of a hybrid role, one that came to being when agencies started to understand that they had to think in multi-channel perspectives and they needed Ideas that were channel agnostic. I also tend to innovate a lot, specifically in the digital world. This also means I don't fit nicely into a box.
I am an innovator and leader in bringing ideas, strategy and creativity to life in the marketing and communications industry.

What have I done?
Currently working with MacLaren McCann to lead the development of digital strategies for a number of their Global clients. Prior to that worked with a number of MDC Partners agencies to develop the proverbial Big Idea and plan the strategy and tactics to push those ideas through digital, experiential and above the line channels.
Founded Real Interactive in 2003, grew the agency from zero to an award winning full service digital agency, which I integrated into 6 Degrees / MDC in 2006. I left in 2011 to have more flexibility in my life and work as a consultant to MDC Partners.
Founded 8 Dots in 2011. A multi platform tool that enables organizations to take the emotional pulse of their organization,
understand the impact of key decisions and determine when, why and where people where happiest, healthiest and most motivated.
As one of the founders of Targetnet in 2000, helped to define, build and market the first rich media advertising platform in North America.
How do I work?
I take complex problems and distill them into simple solutions.
I create and sell ideas, thinking and strategy and I do it with purpose and clarity.
I have the experience to understand what will work and what will not, what is of value and what isn't.
I am constantly pushing the premise to think differently, to innovate and challenge what we can do.
I love being with intelligent, focused and energetic people who care about what they do and why they do it.
I believe that exploration is how we grow and discovery is how we change.
I lead through a sustained focus on growth, individual integrity and collective effort and reward.
I do a few things not as well:
I’m not very good at building furniture. Photocopy machines are also my nemesis. I also can’t golf and despite a love of reading, writing and words in general, I lose at Scrabble too often.
